SMS and Text Message Communications
GaltIoT may send SMS text messages to platform administrators for critical infrastructure alerts, including device health warnings, system outage notifications, and security alerts. By providing your phone number and consenting to SMS notifications during platform setup, you agree to receive these messages.
- Message frequency varies based on system events, typically fewer than 100 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

- We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Your phone number is used exclusively for platform operational alerts.
3. Data Storage and Security
Device telemetry and platform data are processed and stored on edge devices within your local network and in our cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With cloud infrastructure providers (AWS) necessary to operate the platform.
- SMS Delivery: With telecommunications carriers solely for the purpose of delivering SMS alert messages to your phone number.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information for the duration of your use of the platform. Device telemetry data retention periods are configurable per deployment. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
